Carlo C. Lazado

I am a 25-year old Filipino presently taking my Ph.D. in Aquaculture at the Faculty of Biosciences and Aquaculture, University of Nordland. My Ph.D. research is entitled “Molecular basis of photoperiodic-induced phenotypic plasticity in Atlantic cod Gadus morhua”. This research aims to unravel the different molecular phenomena behind the influences of photic signals on muscle biology. My fields of interest include microbiology, immunology, molecular biology and genomics. In my spare time, I love travelling and discovering other cultures. I am into Kung Fu and I love to collect die cast toy cars.
