Lazado wins WAS 2011 Student Poster Prize
Carlo C. Lazado, a Ph.D. student of the University of Nordland working under
the GrowCod project was awarded by the World Aquaculture Society with the First Prize
of the Student Poster Award, bested almost 600 entries during the World Aquaculture
2011 in Natal, Brazil on June 6-
Lazado presented a poster on the ”Circadian Periodicity of the Molecular Clock in Atlantic Cod and Its Implications in Precocious Sexual Maturation”. He received a certificate and 400 USD as a cash prize
